Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and on-boarding new suppliers. This is your opportunity to join our fast-paced and talented team on our mission to conquer the European market by adding the most promising industry suppliers from countries all over the continent. We are at the forefront when it comes to expanding Wayfair’s selection and we constantly seek new business opportunities within our chosen product categories and markets.

The role provides a mix of sales, business analysis and strategy design and implementation. We achieve our goals through meticulous planning, process improvement and execution focus. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Work within a dynamic, motivated and driven team based in Berlin - own your categories regarding acquisition and onboarding and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth targets
  • Manage relations with 3rd parties for lead generation, i.e. trade associations
  • Help build up new categories in Europe and develop incremental business
  • Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to identify blockers, and together with your peers develop solutions and execute on them
  • Use data to analyze and interpret your categories’ and suppliers’ landscape
  • Attend trade shows and supplier meetings

 

What You'll Need

  • Graduate from a Bachelor's degree
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and Italian
  • Prior experience in a sales, business development, eCommerce or procurement/buying environment
  • Demonstrated success in building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong process orientation and very efficient and self-organized ways of working
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on commercial experience
  • Comfortable in a technology-driven, numbers-oriented business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead successful commercial and contractual negotiations
  • Proven track record of constantly reaching or outperforming targets
