Supplier Acquisition & Onboarding at Wayfair is responsible for increasing Wayfair’s revenue by identifying, approaching and onboarding new suppliers. This is your opportunity to join our fast-paced and talented team on our mission to conquer the European market by adding the most promising industry suppliers from countries all over the continent. We are at the forefront when it comes to expanding Wayfair’s selection and we constantly seek new business opportunities within our chosen product categories and markets.

The role provides a mix of sales and strategic market and business analysis. We achieve our goals through meticulous project management and process and execution oriented focus. You will drive negotiations with C-Level stakeholders and build strong relationships with our suppliers. In addition, you will make decisions on the most appropriate tools and levers required to onboard committed suppliers and set them up for success at Wayfair. 

 

What You'll Do

  •  Work within a dynamic, motivated and driven team based in Berlin - own your categories regarding acquisition and onboarding and contribute to the company’s ambitious growth targets
  • Work on some of the biggest categories for Wayfair in terms of revenue. Help us build up new categories and product classes in Europe and develop incremental business growth
  • Work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to identify blockers, and together with your peers develop solutions and execute on them
  • Use data to analyse and interpret your categories’ and suppliers’ landscape
  • Regularly attend trade shows and supplier meetings

 

What You'll Need

  •  A bachelor degree
  • Fluency in both Polish and English (other European languages a plus)
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on commercial experience
  • Comfortable in a technology-driven, numbers-oriented business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Articulate, persuasive and personable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong process orientation and very efficient and self-organized ways of working
  • Demonstrated success in building business relationships with internal and external  stakeholders 
  • Professional experience in a sales or business development ideally in an eCommerce or technology environment
  • Proven track record of constantly reaching or outperforming targets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead successful commercial and contractual negotiations
