Associate Director, Triggered Supplier Notifications

Location: Boston

Partner Home (PH) is Wayfair’s supplier facing ecosystem that enables our 16,000+ supplier-partners to manage and grow their business through Wayfair.  As part of that ecosystem, the Supplier Marketing team closely collaborates with Product Management, Engineering, Category and Ops teams in order to drive successful outcomes for our supplier base. 

As the Associate Director of the Triggered Supplier Notifications team, you will be part of the global Supplier Marketing team whose mission it is to drive supplier engagement & success across Wayfair’s platform by surfacing the right content & messaging, at the right time, through the right channels, to the right supplier contact. You will contribute to the global tech and testing roadmap and own the outcomes for Wayfair’s supplier base, reporting into the global Head of Notifications & Recommendations. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of 3 supplier notifications & recommendations specialists.
  • Define the playbook and roadmap to automate notifications & recommendation along the end to end supplier journey.
  • Create clear, insightful and comprehensive user stories to make the aforementioned success factors come to life. 
  • Partner with a variety of stakeholders, such as global commercial leaders (e.g. Category Management, Promotions, Operations) to understand key success factors for supplier onboarding/growth, as well as Product Management & Engineering teams to drive tech solutions to translate user stories into notifications & automation feature releases.
  • Prioritize between workstreams to ensure timely results and ongoing refinement of the supplier recommendations and notifications roadmap.
  • Contribute to the definition of metrics and measurement requirements in partnership with the Supplier Marketing Analytics team.
  • Continuously experiment, test and refine the automated notifications and recommendations playbook.
  • Contribute innovative and strategic ideas to shape the overall Supplier Marketing Notifications and Recommendations team with leadership and peers in other swimlanes.

 What You'll Need

  • 8+ years’ of professional experience, with preference for candidates with a mix of start-up and large-company experience; MBA preferred with with 4+ years of post-MBA experience
  • Previous experience in B2B, SaaS or B2C marketing, ideally with a focus on performance marketing + retention
  • Experience in managing, building diverse teams and creating an inclusive and supportive environment
  • Track record of helping product & engineering teams design and build scalable, end-to-end experiences and features.
  • Strong analytical / structured problem-solving skills incl. experience in mining large data sets and coaching teams on these skills. 
  • Familiarity with SQL/Big Query preferred, including a desire to develop the skill set.
  • Ability to identify and succinctly summarize roadblocks and constraints, propose potential solutions, and drive towards resolution.
