Our SRM@Scale team leverages technology and processes to deliver a scalable supplier management solution to our entire supplier segments globally. Our mission is to drive commercial and operational performance of these segments by heling suppliers grow their businesses on our sites, and leveraging internal partners to execute the strategic vision to win in the online home space. 

Wayfair is looking for a talented, driven, and entrepreneurial leader to drive our strategy with EU suppliers. In this role you’ll manage a team of associates and senior associates, and you will engage directly with suppliers on a number of priorities, such as negotiating favorable business terms, driving improved product economics and operational performance, developing proposals for promotions. Managers on SRM@Scale must be able to develop and motivate a team of direct reports, while also being effective project managers and cross functional partners.

 

What You'll Do

  • Manage and develop a team of associates and senior associates who are responsible for engaging suppliers and driving commercial and operational priorities within our portfolio
  • Set objectives and execute initiatives to drive progress against KPIs
  • Execute commercial negotiations with suppliers (including everyday pricing, operational improvements, advertising programs and promotions)
  • Partner with cross functional counterparts to identify and implement both process and product improvements
  • Analyse data and trends, and pilot innovative solutions to improve efficiency, negotiation success, and the overall supplier experience

 

What You'll Need

  • Substantial eCommerce, corporate retail, or management consulting experience preferred
  • Experience managing others, while fostering a culture of inclusion and generating meaningful job satisfaction
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
  • A track record of successful negotiation and relationship management skills
  • An ability to hit the ground running as a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter
  • An ability to manage and prioritize projects, and to delegate tasks appropriately
  • Innovative problem-solving skills, plus the ability to dissect and determine root causes of problems, then implement solutions
  • A track record of taking on big challenges and delivering results despite obstacles and limited resources
