Partner Operations drives best-in-class consumer experience by partnering with suppliers to create tailored supply chain solutions, and deliver cost-efficient, perfect orders at scale. Partner Operations is at the forefront of building innovative and scalable supply chain solutions that provide a unique, competitive advantage for Wayfair and unlocks value for our supplier partners. By leveraging our proprietary technology, fulfillment and delivery networks and supply chain services, we reduce costs, increase speed of delivery and ensure a reliable consumer experience. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help expand this business and solve complex problems across operations, logistics and technology to achieve rapid growth.

 

The Self-Service Operations team supports Wayfair’s effort to transform a network of thousands of individual vendor businesses into a connected and flawless operations network. We work with our technology partners to upgrade and launch next gen tools that suppliers will use to execute operational high value actions. These upgrades will be mutually beneficial to Wayfair and suppliers alike, and enable more efficient fulfillment, communication, reporting, product availability, and increased transparency into our supply chain. Additionally we drive adoption of these tools and achieve performance improvements from our suppliers’ access to self-service functionality.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support high visibility strategic and tactical initiatives spanning thousands of suppliers to improve our ability to attract and retain suppliers at scale.
  • Monitor and report key operational metrics to drive the continued improvement of our business development and onboarding approaches while enhancing supplier experience
  • Collaborate closely with a variety of groups company-wide an across geographies including product, finance, account managers, engineering, content, design, new business lines, and others to realize the impact of self-service tooling
  • Help identify and prioritize various improvement opportunities to drive the largest immediate impact in our current approach while assisting to plan and implement additional tools and capabilities
  • Become subject matter expert on data, tools and work streams within the Global Operations team related to Self-Service to help improve the supplier journey through the entire lifecycle
  • Regularly communicate performance trends and improvements to senior management and leadership both within and outside your immediate line of reporting

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years experience in one of the following fields, consulting, business development, financial services, operations, tech, marketing, product management
  • A successful entrepreneur who has built similar or related product/service offerings, especially in the logistics space
  • Strong analytical experience and comfortable operating with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience in retail, supply chain, logistics is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
