Talent Operations and Shared Services Manager

Wayfair is seeking an HR Operations Manager for our Shared Services function supporting all locations of our European business. As a leader within the HR Operations team, you will impact the lives of every Wayfair team member through overseeing the delivery of benefits administration, processing of employee-focused policies, new employee onboarding, and general support throughout the employee life cycle. In addition to overseeing the day to day service delivery you will play a critical role in expanding the services supported whilst driving key process improvements. What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the shared services team supporting various international corporate, warehouse & customer service sites to process employee relations requests, administer benefits & manage employee contracts
  • Define best practices for supporting stakeholders & employees to achieve a consistently intuitive and efficient experience
  • Analyze data to manage workflow, identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations to stakeholders and HR leadership
  • Act as an HR process subject matter expert to advise on optimal service delivery
  • Drive process enhancements with a bias toward tech-driven solutions & a best in class employee experience
  • Own auditing schedule and maintain accuracy of Employee Records using various HRIS systems
  • Partner with Talent Management & Recruiting stakeholders to support new-hire onboarding process
  • Lead change management & communication strategies as enhancements and changes to processes are rolled out
  • Partner closely with Payroll & Talent Management teams across various sites in EU & NA 
  • Support EU Head of Talent Operations to define roadmap for expansion of services, new initiatives and opportunities to increase scope of support to the Global Wayfair population

 

What You'll Need:

  • 4+ years in an international Generalist, Shared Services or HRIS role
  • Ability to use sound judgement and creatively problem-solve
  • Resourceful and results-oriented attitude
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to analyze large datasets, extract insights and proactively communicate those insights
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and take ownership of projects
  • Ability to effectively and respectfully partner with individuals at varying levels within an international organization
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field
  • German/English language skills
  • Experience with tools like Google Suite and Workday or other HRIS systems
