We aren’t your standard marketers: we own the strategy, P&L, and product roadmaps for our portfolio of bleeding- edge and in-house-built marketing and AdTech products. We leverage them to acquire high potential customers and engage them to come back again and again. We have petabytes of first and third party data at our fingertips; what makes us successful is using that data to build algorithms and automated solutions to take our “Zillions thing home” offering and personalize it to each and every customer. 

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager for our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Platform team. The role would focus on one of the core parts of our ambitious vision to build a scalable automated platform for driving sustained long-term growth by most efficiently connecting search customers to Wayfair content they’ll love.

What You'll Do

  • Defining a multi-quarter strategy and near-term roadmap for one of the most critical parts of SEO Platform
  • Working with business and engineering partners to align on product requirements and priorities
  • Leading an Engineering scrum team as a product owner
  • Hands-on prototyping and designing low-scale proof-of-concept tests to maximize speed-to-value
  • Working with Data Science and Analytics to drive longer-term R&D and progress learning agenda for SEO

What You'll Need

  • Successful track record in technical Product Management or Product Analytics, experience in Big Data space a big plus; alternatively, this role is also a great fit for former data scientists or data engineers looking to transition to Product Management
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of Python for data analysis / data science applications a big plus
  • Demonstrable ability to be technically hands-on
  • Ability to work across several stakeholder groups and juggle many initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
