What You'll Do

  • Supervise and direct the duties of the warehouse Team Leaders & Associates operating an automated sortation system on our Split Shift (11:00-21:00, 4 on 4 off) shift system.
  • Delegate and assign tasks and targets and evaluate the work performance of the warehouse teams to ensure productivity levels are optimized and that customer orders are fulfilled within order lead times.
  • Achieve department specific targets and be able to identify root cause exceptions relating to under performance.
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
  • Adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.
  • Organize and conduct necessary training activities for the team.
  • Supervise proper shift allocations and ensure efficiency of the warehouse team.
  • Enforce compliance to all health & safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring all accidents and near misses are recorded in the appropriate manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Driven and focused to exceed KPI targets, contribute towards the Company’s objectives and develop their departments within a rewarding and challenging environment.
  • Work effectively with other managers within a functional team and support new team members.
  • Drive specific initiatives that have proven business results.
  • Accurately, quickly, and clearly answer questions related to your area of focus.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

 

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 3 years experience within a high-volume warehouse environment in a Team Leader / Supervisory position.
  • Exposure to a range of warehouse activities including inbound processes, put-away, order picking (large and small items) and shipping.
  • Fluency in English is a must () Enthusiastic, quick learner with proven ability to deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills at Supervisory Level.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resolve issues.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of  MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) or Google Suite (G-Mail, GoogleSheets,); ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Able to provide proof of identification and employment eligibility.
