PIV/MHE Certified Trainer

15,58 € pro Stunde

This position provides support to the daily facility operation. The role involves planning for and delivering both PIV & New Starter training, including initial and regular refresher, in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Preparation and planned training activities including documentation and resource allocation to ensure successful completion and coordination. Some Flexibility is also required to cover for other members of the team and support the operation during peak periods.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure all training is carried out in line with statutory & local best practice guidelines.
    • Support New Hire inductions across the site, ensuring appropriate guidelines are followed. 
    • Regular refresher training for all training modules
    • Adherence to adequate training times (HSE - UK, DGUV - DE)
    • Reassessment post incident or accident
    • Support job instruction training/refreshers for all departments on site
  • Ensure all statutory paperwork requirements are met
    • Assist with audits of site PIV documentation
    • Completion of onsite training records 
    • 100% compliance on Electronic Training Records (LMS), working within the SLA you will ensure that all available training materials are signed off online. 
  • Ensure all paperwork suitably filed and managed
    • All training and evidence to be documented
    • All refresher training to be scheduled as required
    • Training where available, assigned and completed within the LMS System 
  • Assist with management of asset compliance on site along with requisite inspections and records
  • Ensure drivers are periodically audited and maintain records.
    • Observations carried out (4 per month minimum) auditing safe and efficient use of manual handling techniques and equipment. 
    • Management of any competency related issues through key stakeholders, illustrating next steps through our performance management tools. i.e. Refreshers.  
  • Ensure training matrix is up to date
    • Use of operations training matrix 
  • Be the on site expert on the PIV equipment and management programs
    • PIV Driving Standards Audits
  • Ensure PIV is suitably managed regarding downtime, condition and charging
    • Records of charging
    • Regular housekeeping of PIV
    • Topping up batteries.
    • Feedback into management meetings of current truck status
  • Work with the ops team in regards to incident reporting, damage and faulty PIV reporting 
    • Use of reporting application
    • Monitor downtime of PIV
    • Managing and reporting VOR'd trucks to the Operation
  • Work with H&S department in regards to Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
    • Hazard Reporting
    • Site Audits 
    • Be a Safety & Training Ambassador for the site
  • Manage the Connect, Service Desk and access system
    • Downtime
    • Utilisation
    • Produce various reports

What You'll Need:

  • Knowledge, skills & abilities:
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills—to include MS Office/Google applications
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Training background is essential
    • Demonstrates a willingness to drive changes and best practices.
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured environment.
    • Abseil instructor / Willing to attend training in this discipline
    • Accredited instructor with a recognised training body (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT).
  • Minimum experience:
    • 1 years of practical experience in Training
    • Experience using PIV equipment
