Wayfair is seeking a Working Student in Human Resources to support our Shared Services function located at our European Headquarters in Berlin, Germany.
As a member of the Human Resources Team, you will impact the lives of every Wayfair team member through supporting new hires, benefits administration, processing of employee-focused policies, new employee onboarding, and general support throughout the employee life cycle. The HR Shared Services team makes sure the fun, hardworking, and innovative culture of Wayfair are constants in the work lives of our employees.
What You'll Do:
- Support our Recruiting, HR Shared Services & Talent Management teams across various corporate & warehouse sites to generate & amend employee contracts, support the processing of various employee requests and administer benefits
- Support org and structural changes ensuring consistency & speed
- Audit and maintain accuracy of Employee Records using various HRIS systems
- Support new-hire onboarding process
- Partner closely with wider HR organization across various sites in EU, Asia & NA to identify new HR Shared Services initiatives and opportunities to increase scope
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field, preferred
- Ability to use sound judgement, creatively problem-solve
- Ability to effectively and respectfully partner with individuals at varying levels within an organization
- Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- German/English language skills preferred
- Excellent computer skills including Google Suite and HRIS systems
