MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We are currently recruiting for a skilled translator for global networking hardware, equipment company. The content includes Technical documentation; Business/Management comms/training; User Interface/website; Corporate image/branding/advertising.

MAIN DUTIES
o   Translate and review IT/Software, marketing, and creative translation content from English to German with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
o    Experience translating for an enterprise technology client preferred
o    Experience with JIRA or other bug/query tracking software a plus
o    Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario a plus
o  Experience in MTPE project.

Ideal profile for the translation team;

  • Native fluency level of German and fluent in English.
  • Degree in linguistics, translation and/or equivalent experience.
  • Familiar with IT/Software/Open Source Technology
  • At least 3 years of IT/Software and creative marketing translation experience
  • XTM, online tool (will be provided with credentials for each team member)
