As part of the Learning and Development team, the Learning Analyst Lead will be responsible for gathering and analyzing learning data for different learning initiatives across the organization. Using the appropriate tools and data sources (Power BI, Google Analytics, Reporting 2.0 etc.) will implement reporting systems, monitoring success, and evaluating the learning experiences prided by Welocalize to internal and external learners.  
This position will play a key role in developing efficient remote and digital learning modules working closely with our Learning Research Lead to document models and continuously improve our learning initiatives connecting with internal and external stakeholders for information exchange and designing education success metrics to track the impact and suitability of our learning programs.  
Working in collaboration with colleagues, this person will provide technical expertise, and project management skills for coordination, dissemination, and promotion of education program strategies, standards, and tools. Additionally, this position will work to encourage and facilitate the data-driven documentation of best practices and lessons learned, directed toward multiple internal and external audiences.  

Main Duties

  • Lead the data model design of learning modules and paths within the company, both for internal and external teams, industry, and non-industry specific fields 
  • Conduct research and offer technical expertise in all aspects of the learning process, with a focus on remote digital learning metrics 
  • Devise comprehensive implementation, monitoring and evaluation plans for new learning paths (in conjunction with subject matter specialists across the company) 
  • Proactively seeks for data and technically driven ways to measure the success of learning modules and improve results according to pre-established criteria 
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across teams and units to share information, identify areas to leverage expertise and learning, and promote innovative program development 
  • Encourage and facilitate the documentation of best practices and lessons learned in remote learning programs. 
  • Other Learning and Development related tasks, as assigned 
  • 3+ years of work experience in education analytics in a private/corporate environment, educational university researcher LMS (Learning Management System) analytics management 
  • Demonstrated expertise on Learning Management Systems advanced reporting capabilities.  
  • Outstanding analytical skills, proven ability to quickly understand complex challenges and propose solutions in an organized and comprehensive manner 
  • Advanced data visualization/presentation skills   
  • Experience on enabling advanced reporting using SCORM and TIN CAN content packages. 
  • Familiarity with experimental, comparative and descriptive statistical analyses 
  • An objective, problem-solving mindset, mental flexibility, and a “can-do” attitude, a having solution-oriented approach to every challenge  
  • Knowledge or experience in language and linguistics industry will be a plus 
  • English native speaker

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) Business analytics, learning sciences, adults’ pedagogy or equivalent
