MAIN DUTIES:
- Translation (Translating and reviewing the assigned content according to the guidelines and prescribed due dates).
- Linguistic Reviews and quality assessment (Track and monitor translation quality, flag potential quality issues and take actions to address them).
- Localization Testing and A/B Testing (Regularly perform Localization testing (e.g. screenshot testing or Live testing) as per the task instructions/test plan).
- Create and maintain linguistic assets (Translate and/or review the Glossary to ensure accuracy and appropriateness).
- Communicate and collaborate (Proactively flag potential or existing issues and regularly follow-up to ensure timely resolution).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 100% native fluency in the target language.
- At least 3 years of experience in translation and localization.
- Familiarity with the target language culture and trends.
- Knowledge of CAT tools and translation quality management.
- Experience localizing apps and mobile content (e.g. translation of websites and apps).
- Familiarity with translated content.
- Strong linguistic and analytical skills to make critical judgments regarding the translation quality.
