Welocalize is currently seeking a Brazilian Portuguese Multimedia Content Reviewer to work remotely (US-based). Our Content Reviewers provide high-quality language services including copy editing, copy reviewing, and copywriting in their native languages.

For this project, we are specifically seeking a fluent Brazilian Portuguese speaker with a creative mindset, strong language skills, and an understanding of the digital market. Our Content Reviewers work with a team of linguists to provide high-quality language content for our client's app store and music streaming service.

Location: Remote - based in the US only
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday with set schedule (35 hours per week)
Semi-flexible, 7-8 consecutive hours between 6:00am-6:00pm PST
Duration: Ongoing, no end date
Employment Type: W-2 employee, eligible for benefits after the trial period

Successful candidates must have valid work authorization for the US with no need for sponsorship, Welocalize cannot sponsor visas.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills in Brazilian Portuguese
  • Strong English skills
  • Valid Work Authorization for the United States without need for sponsorship
  • Every candidate must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to protect project confidentiality
  • Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing skills in Brazilian Portuguese
  • The ability to work remotely effectively (Equipment is provided by Welocalize)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Effective multitasking over simultaneous assignments

  • Detail oriented
  • Background in journalism, copy editing, blogging, marketing  
  • Is in tune with music and pop culture who can potentially write and review about both
  • Familiarity with iOS systems
  • Experience in reviewing articles (edit copy, fact-check, re-write) 
  • Familiar with streaming music using various music platforms  
  • Enjoys listening to all genres of music and can write about music without typos
