ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The Intern’s primary purpose is to support the Project Managers in executing translation projects. This responsibility can include activities such as assessing the scope of the project, and executing translation projects, from quoting through delivery, ensuring that the client’s requests are met in a timely manner, with a keen attention to quality and cost-saving potential.
 
Major responsibilities will include:

Coordinate the completion of project steps, using Legal Services standard processes and tools. This includes, but is not limited to:
 Managing project schedules for your assigned projects for each production step: translation, proofreading, quality assurance, and  delivery to client.
 Establishing strong relationships with internal and external vendors globally.
 Working with Project Managers to ensure accurate project tracking.
 File handling Ensuring all finance systems data is accurate and kept up-to-date.
 Providing status updates to Project Managers or Sales Representatives as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS 
 
Language:  Ability to read, analyse and interpret client requests, as well as effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of co-workers, managers, clients and vendors. Ability to negotiate rates with external resources effectively, when applicable.

Note: Good working knowledge of English is required.

Multitasking:  Strong time-management skills. Extremely capable with multi-tasking. Close attention to detail.

Team Player: A positive, open-minded team player. Will work closely with Project Managers, sharing projects and working in shared mailboxes. 
 
Mathematical:  Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts and percentages.
 
Reasoning Ability:  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.  Close attention to detail.

Other:  Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
