We’re putting the fun back into commuting with our e-scooters, and we want you to join us! Today we are powering over 30 cities worldwide and the leading operator of e-scooter in free floating in Israel. As we keep pushing to maintain our strong momentum in the region, we are looking for a superstar to be our new General Manager - Israel. This superhero will be responsible for boosting growth and guaranteeing operational efficiency in the country by successfully managing and developing high performing local teams, helping them to achieve goals and build for scale. You will deliver a seamless experience to our riders, ensuring our corporate vision and strategy are aligned and are being applied consistently in Israel and that our global processes are leveraged. You will also collaborate with our HQ teams and influence our approach working with local municipalities, developing our local marketing and communication strategy and providing feedback from the ground up to improve our software and hardware. You must be comfortable leading teams, acting as a business partner and a decision maker, managing through ambiguity and adversity, and delivering great results.

You will:

  • Manage P&L of our Israel e-scooter market.
  • Strengthen the leadership position of Wind in Israel, building relationships with municipalities to further expand our business in the region.
  • Recruit, build and develop high performing local teams, by defining hiring needs, guaranteeing training and development for our local logistics teams, and creating a collaborative and high energy work culture.
  • Be responsible for operational excellence within our field and fleet operations, leveraging global processes and building new ones.
  • Actively build and manage long term partnership with operation vendors, organize weekly/monthly business review to enhance the operations efficiency and performance while reducing costs.
  • Work with other senior cross-functional leaders to help define local team's goals, share and learn the best practices across different geos globally, and be one of the main contributors in defining and driving SOP cross different geos.
  • Build up customer centric culture and provide the best in class customer experience by guiding regional customer support teamo   Establish and maintain government relations, drive new market launch and achieve the strategic growth goal in the Middle East region.
  • Drive new business initiatives in micro-mobility related industry
  • You have:

  •  7+ years in a leading operations role in a rapid growth start-up and with a robust people management experience, with some or all of that time in the shared economy/logistics industry.
  •  Strong business judgement, P&L and vendor management experience, great analytical and problem solving skills.
  •   Entrepreneurial hustle, you are a proven self-starter with owner’s mentality, with a motivation to excel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong interest in technology and mobility.
  • Very good knowledge of the Israel market
  • Excellent English and Hebrew skills
