Role Background
Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners. 

Just 2 years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 20 countries and over 80 cities across EMEA, servicing over 4M registered users. 

Accompanied by outsourced accounting and payroll, Wolt’s centralised Finance & Legal team supports our global business activities. This includes our HQ teams in Finland and Denmark, as well as our operations team in both the existing countries in which we already operate and our expansion to new countries.

    • What you'll be doing

  • Reporting to the Head of Accounting, the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist is tasked with overseeing multiple transactions on an international stage. This includes liaising with our internal HQ and Country Operations teams, our Restaurant and Courier Partners, and other corporations.   

    • Key duties include:
  • Courier payments processing
  • Supporting restaurant payout processing
  • Purchase invoice handling and payment processing
  • Salary and tax payments processing
  • Corporate invoicing and collection
  • Cash flow monitoring
  • Reconciliations
  • Various other accounts payable and accounts receivable related tasks

    • Skills & experience required

  • Solid foothold as an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist, an Accountant or in a similar position.
  • Demonstrable experience of autonomously problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics or other financial degree
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Prior experience in NetSuite is a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the E.U
