About the role
This is an onsite role that forms part of a larger global IT Team, focused on customer satisfaction for the end users we support, our employees. Within the role you will be utilizing your extensive knowledge of both Windows and macOS, leveraging your previous experience and existing skills in end-user support. This is an extremely fast-paced environment so you need to be highly organized, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and enjoy working with end-users daily.
Information technology is a vital and integral part of our success. At 10x, IT not only provides secure, stable, and scalable infrastructure and services for the business, it serves as a catalyst for innovation and productivity. This role requires being in office Monday through Friday.
What you will be doing
- Procure, configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices
- Manage user accounts, security groups, mailing lists, and application access according to SOPs
- Handle service requests, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a thorough, timely and professional manner for on-site and remote users
- Maintain detailed documentation, change records, and inventory
- Support and maintain audio/visual and VoIP software and devices
- Understand, troubleshoot, and set up printers
- Must be available for after hours on call
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years of experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS
- 2 years of IT helpdesk experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent work experience
- Be able to do physical work, multi-task, and pivot on tasks
Administration experience in Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom, Slack, Druva, Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center, or the equivalent - Solid understanding of basic networking protocols and security concepts such as WiFi, DNS, DHCP, SSL, VPN, and encryption
- Ability to clearly explain IT concepts to both technical and non-technical users
- Experience with supporting VoIP and audio/visual systems
- Willing and able to work in a team and comfortable working independently
- High energy and passion for your work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Mobile Device and Endpoint Management: MS InTune, JAMF, MobileIron, Kandji
- Experience in site expansion dealing with build outs for AV and IT
- Experience in ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system
- Experience with endpoint protection
- Knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management
- Experience in lab environment, BSL1 and BSL2 clean rooms

Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
