ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a solutions architect to join our business solutions team, helping design and re-engineer our Workday designs, planning, execution, vendor selection, and vision for the future in close collaboration with our People Solution partners. This is a role where you can learn the biotech business from an system applications seat. Requires deep architecture innovation and configuration experience, and a vision to support solutions as we scale.

We are building an organization to bring holistic architecture and business function experience   to develop robust technical solutions and best practices into the company as we scale.  Requires deep experience in all HR information systems. Design and implement best practice architecture, help resolve complex business challenges from strategy to execution. Accountable for building followership, creating multiyear technology vision, and ensure new business processes and architecture are understood and adopted without technology being the limit.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of all human resource information systems (HRIS), with a primary focus on Workday specifically benefits, Absence and Time Tracking modules/functionalities.
  • Manage the architecture of complex data integration, design, and solution deployment.
  • Translate business objectives into Workday solutions with clearly defined scope, timing deliverables, resources, and key measures of success.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Workday, Greenhouse and other HR systems and integrations to support deliverables. Ensure seamless data flow and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, active listener, respected influencer, and respected for meeting time and budget commitments.
  • Visible and respected strategic influencer and architecture Workday expert across functions and enterprise. Ability to persuade the technical and non-technical partners.
  • Provide guidance on newest Workday features and functionality across HCM. Manage release cycles and propose ways to utilize the new features.
  • Proven expertise, advising stakeholders on best practice optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility.
  • Create and maintain business requirements documentation as well as detailed configuration designs and guides.
  • Accountability for data migration, integration, and testing efforts. Act as a Steward & champion for people data integrity and security.
  • Accountable for documentation preparation; user guides, configuration guides, business requirement docs, UAT definitions and success KPIs, and functional specifications.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
  • 10 years’ development experience leading HRIS architecture management, hands-on Workday configuration experience.
  • Experience with Absence and/or Time Tracking is required.
  • Minimum 1 complete full life cycle Workday implementation.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and lean root cause analysis abilities for vetting architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and with high level of effectiveness within cross-functional matrixed global organizations.
  • Track record of executing Workday HR system with a strong focus on Ux.
  • Strong technical, problem-solving, influence, and project management skills with the ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of data integrity and reliability, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborative, process-oriented, and organized approach to daily tasks in a dynamic org.
  • Comfortable in ideation environment, working with experienced colleagues who will challenge proposed solutions across Greenhouse, Eightfold, Visier, and Bridge LMS

Below is the base pay range for this full time position.  The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package.  This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.  Your 10x recruiter can share more about the Company’s total compensation package during the hiring process.
