ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking Career & Transition Coaches to support Digital Ambassadors in planning their long-term career paths as they complete their training and transition into their next professional steps.

The Digital Ambassador Program, launched by the Government of Togo in partnership with African Leadership University (ALU), is equipping 80 Ambassadors to drive digital transformation within government ministries. As the program nears completion, some Ambassadors will remain in government, while others will transition to careers in civic tech, private industry, or further education

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Career Visioning & Pathway Exploration

  • Guide Ambassadors in identifying their long-term career aspirations.
  • Help Ambassadors explore opportunities in government, civic tech, private sector, or academia.

Small-Group Career Coaching & Strategy Development

  • Lead virtual group coaching sessions (Career Planning, Transition Strategies, Networking).
  • Help Ambassadors align their skills and experience with career opportunities.

1-on-1 Career Strategy Coaching 

  • Offer individualized coaching for Ambassadors actively seeking jobs, fellowships, or further education.
  • Provide support in career transitions and decision-making strategies.

CV, LinkedIn & Professional Branding

  • Assist Ambassadors in refining their CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and professional branding.
  • Conduct mock interviews and job application strategy sessions (for Ambassadors that need this).

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years in career coaching, talent development, executive coaching, or workforce transition planning.
  • Experience coaching early- to mid-career professionals on career transitions.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector careers, GovTech, civic tech, private industry, and international development.
  • Ability to facilitate group coaching sessions and provide one-on-one mentorship.
  • Fluency in BOTH English and French.

LOCATION

  • Remote (with two in-person training workshops in Togo)
