ABOUT THE CRA TEAM
The Center for a Reimagined Africa (CRA) supports African public sector leaders in developing the expertise, experiences and partnerships needed to improve service delivery and outcomes for African citizens. We run various learning programs targeted at public sector officials at varying levels of seniority.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Leadership Trainer to design and deliver a leadership development program for the Digital Ambassador Program in Togo. This program will equip Digital Ambassadors with the ability to lead digital transformation efforts in government ministries, influence stakeholders, and navigate resistance to change.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Curriculum Development & Training Design
- Design a leadership training curriculum tailored for government digital transformation.
- Focus on influencing without authority, stakeholder management, self-leadership, resilience, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop interactive learning experiences, including role-playing, case studies, and peer learning exercises.
Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Lead monthly virtual leadership training sessions from June to December 2025.
- Facilitate two full-day in-person workshops on stakeholder engagement, digital transformation leadership, and resilience.
- Equip Ambassadors with practical strategies to navigate bureaucracy and drive change.
Collaboration with Other Trainers
- Work closely with the Product Management Faculty to ensure leadership development aligns with product management principles.
- Support the Project Management Faculty in integrating leadership skills into project execution scenarios.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in leadership development, executive coaching, or public sector transformation.
- Experience designing and delivering leadership training programs in government, non-profits, or digital transformation settings.
- Strong understanding of change management, stakeholder influence, and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to facilitate engaging virtual and in-person leadership training.
- Fluency in English (French proficiency is a plus).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Competitive contract rate (based on experience).
- Travel and accommodation covered for in-person workshops in Togo.
