The Opportunity:

Finance BackOffice Team (BOFF) is a part of Payment, Credit Risk & Collections team. BOFF is dedicated on supplier management and hotel financial data control by screening, controlling, evaluating with providing support to ensure compliance with Finance and Company policy; by mitigating risk; and by promoting the financial health of Agoda. 

As a Finance BackOffice Support Officer you will support vendor inventory and related tasks of Finance Operations Payment Support in BackOffice Team, performs all supplier registration review and related maintenance of supplier data base; assisting hotel partner on the Finance data and details setup, review and ensure accurate create/update from partners and all Payout related inquires (Telex Transfer, Virtual credit card, Physical credit card and PayPal). 

In this Role, you'll get to: 

  • Familiar and have good knowledge on internal system and tools 
  • Assisting hotel partners on their payment related issue  
  • Provide guidance for external suppliers and internal stakeholders on supplier register process and related issue 
  • Resolve issues relating to payment rejection 
  • Manage payments related queries from property partners covering all payment methods (Telex Transfer, Virtual credit card, Physical credit card and PayPal) 
  • Collaborate with relevant teams on problem solving. E.g Account payable team, Accommodation Assistance Team, Partner Service Team and IT team. 
  • Drive for satisfactory resolutions for all escalation cases from our partners
  • Manage other ad-hoc administrative requests and operative tasks
  • Initiate process improvements, innovative ways to get the tasks done in a more efficient manner, collaborate with other departments to further optimize on inter-departmental workflows. 

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Arts (Business /Communication), Hotel and Tourism or other related fields  
  • Hard working, Stress tolerance and able to work under pressured environment 
  • Hand on working attitude with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work within tight operational deadlines 
  • Strong Communication Skills with fluency in English; 
  • Fast learning in working flow and team-working  
  • Interpersonal as well as service-mind, attention to details and process oriented 
  • With curiosity and desire of learning   
  • Planning & Coordination skills
