We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst, BCP, reporting directly to Senior Program Manager.

This role is of Business Continuity Planing & IT Disaster Recovery Coordinator working with different Business units across organization and IT disaster response/crisis management activities. Develop Business continuity plan and IT emergency plan and coordinate during crisis and for disaster preparedness training with respect to the organization’s information technologies to ensure business continuity.

Drive and collaborate across different business functions, technology and across different hierarchies to facilitate smooth, efficient, and effective BCP & IT disaster recovery process

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Perform Business Impact Assessment (BIA) to understand and facilitate the BCP requirement of projects/departments.
  • Create a detailed summary of business continuity plan that need to validate and updated through Plan Do Check Act (PDCA).
  • Work on call tree exercise.
  • BCP, ISO22301 Lead auditor / ISO22301 Lead Implementer certification.
  • Spontaneous reaction towards a crisis event, notifying the required stakeholders and ensure zero impact to the Business units.
  • Initiate training and awareness session over BCP to the employees.
  • Experience on Business Continuity management to ensure that the disaster recovery (crisis management) and business continuity plans drive disaster recovery (DR) strategy and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all DR procedures and understand their interdependencies
  • Establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command and control plans through a change management process
  • Work with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle
  • Develop and understand all testing necessary for a successful DR execution
  • Schedule and lead all DR exercises.
  • Provide ongoing feedback for risk management, mitigation, and prevention
  • Represent disaster recovery cost requirements in the annual budgeting process
  • Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to management team
  • Act as liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances

 

WHAT ABOUT YOU? You have…

  • 4-6 years of experience in handling the BCP requirements, ITDR implementing and supporting infrastructure environments in a data center environment
  • Must have 4+ years of experience dedicated to business continuity and disaster recovery operations and management in the financial or similar industry.
  • Excellent communication, Presentation and conflict management skills, Experience in managing IT projects with interdependencies and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work with diverse functional, hierarchical groups and drive convergence of vision and viewpoints. Ability to articulate complex situation well
  • Person should have strong IT Infra background - Knowledge in areas of technology infrastructure or more (Servers, Virtualization, Databases, Storage & Networks).
  • General business acumen and understanding of the role of technology in business transformation, using Project management methods and tools
  • Understanding of current recovery solutions, high availability architectures and mainframe architectures is needed, as is knowledge of crisis communication solutions. Must know elementary IT network principles. Require excellent oral and written communication skills to convey plans, exercises, and activities.  Must be able to interact with technical, non-technical, and management staff.
  • Familiarity with business continuity program life cycle plans and source deliverables (e.g., risk assessments, bias, continuity planning) is essential.
