Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test scenarios.
- Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all aspects of software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.
- Document defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues on time.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases.
- Maintain and enhance the test automation framework to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- · Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and test automation.
- · Provide technical assistance and mentorship to QA team members on test automation tools, frameworks, and processes.
- · Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies as part of a cross-functional development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / technology or equivalent work experience
- 7+ work experience in building, managing and growing QA teams in the context of Professional Services
- WebdriverIO or Selenium (WebdriverIO preferred)
- Appium
- API Testing (Tools to look for Postman, any automation tool like REST-Assured)
- BDD/Cucumber
- CI/CD Pipelines (Any relevant tool, e.g. Azure DevOps or Jenkins or GiHub Actions or Harness)
- Proven work experience in working directly with global customers across geographies (preferably North America, Europe)
- Proven success with both automated and manual testing tools and technologies. Your test automation experiences include planning, assessments, script development and maintenance.
- Experience within the Retail space.
- Ability to maintain a highly utilized professional services team. Look for opportunities to continuously engage the team.
- Ability to work with Resource Manager to properly staff the team. Includes the ability to manage last minute changes.
- Ability to work with the internal team, implementation consultants and customers to help build test strategies, plans and test bases from a clear set of requirements.

- Proficient with Agile - you are comfortable working with global teams.
