Meet the team:
The Compliance Team supports the operations of the company by ensuring that all functions are complying with applicable laws and
regulations. As part of the Compliance Team, you will provide support to the office of the General Counsel. The Argo Compliance Team’s
goal is to deliver value to business by focusing on speed of delivery, pragmatic application of law and building relationships within the
company.
What you’ll do:
- Support attorneys in the areas of privacy, antitrust, information management, trade compliance and employment law
- Assist attorneys in preparing presentations on various areas of law and internal policies; manage training calendar and track
training attendance for employees - Support information management by creating, organizing and maintaining necessary logs and ensuring that documents are
assigned the proper classification; coordinate and verify the timely destruction of information in compliance with internal policies - Track data privacy agreements for compliance and process agreements for signature; Manage data subject consents and
requests as necessary to comply with applicable privacy regulations - Assist attorneys with legal research as needed
- Perform some administrative tasks
- Work with cross-functional teams
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor Degree required
- 2-3 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience
- Extremely organized, efficient, flexible, team player, able to work independently and respond to unpredictable, often heavy and
fast-paced workflows - Able to manage multiple projects at once, prioritizing appropriately
- Able to take initiative to streamline processes and implement effective tracking systems
- Eager to learn and dive into fast-paced projects
- Excellent communicator
- Skilled with GSuite
