The IT Platform & Architecture team is looking for a Business Process Architect to help in driving transformation across Atlassian. We’re looking for a driven team player with a keen eye towards automation to serve as the enterprise process expert and evangelist.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Business and IT stakeholders to capture and refine business processes
  • Evangelizing Business Process Architecture as a discipline and practice
  • Contributing in developing Atlassian’s operating model for Business Process Architecture
  • Driving training and skills uplift for process modeling resources across the company
  • Administering Atlassian’s repository of business processes and corresponding tooling environments
  • Documenting as-is and to-be process models in BPMN2.0 notation
  • Proving and communicating the value case of Business Process Architecture
  • Seeking out opportunities to automate processes to improve scale and efficiency

    • You might be a good fit if you:

  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis
  • Experience with establishing Business Process practices within a high-growth company
  • Direct experience facilitating process documentation and process design sessions
  • Expert level knowledge of BPMN2.0 (Business Process Management Notation) modeling
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with a broad range of teams and roles on large, cross-functional initiatives
  • A natural curiosity to understand our business at a very detailed level

  • Experience with building and leading Business Process Management teams
  • Experience with Signavio Process Manager solution

    The Business Process Architect will work as part of our broader Enterprise Architecture team made up of other business, information, and systems specialists. This team works with a broad array of cross-functional stakeholders to solve some Atlassian's most challenging problems across people, process, and technology.
