Do you want to help drive Atlassian's business in Germany, Switzerland and Austria? Have you managed a channel business before and want to do it at a hyper-growth company and in an non-salesy business model? The DACH region is Atlassian's largest market in Europe, with fast growth in all segments including enterprise.  Atlassian's low-touch model together with our existing channel partners has served us very well, but we also understand that at scale, doing business in this territory requires a stronger local presence. To support the continued rapid growth we are expanding the DACH channels team. We are seeking a passionate channel manager who understands how to drive business together with specialist and strategic partners, and with a proven track record of working successfully with medium and large consultancy and services companies.

More about you:

You have experience in recruiting and managing partners in the software industry.  You understand the complexities of working with large partners, each with their own challenges and opportunities. You have worked with enterprise accounts but you're also an all rounder who can actively contribute to local marketing and community activities. You want a new challenge at a hyper-growth company, and are not afraid of new business models.

Here's an idea of the kinds of things you'll get to do

  • identify, recruit and develop new partners
  • ranging from large value added resellers to regional system integrators and/or large SIs
  • with a focus on large scale collaboration, digitalization, agile transformation and ITSM
  • supporting companies of all sizes to deploy Atlassian as a strategic company platform on our Public Cloud or Data Center deployment offering
  • drive key partners and development partners, through strategic go-to-market plans and personal support
  • cascade supporting channel initiatives to your partners and supervise their implementation
  • lead and train the sales and marketing team of your partners
  • coordinate local marketing activities and trade fairs with the partners and the Atlassian Events Team
  • drive the business in coordination with Atlassian's Enterprise Account teams

    This position reports to the Head of DACH & EE Channels and is part of a global organization that is tasked with building a channel that can deliver value to our customers. You will work closely with the partner program, enablement and field marketing teams, to develop and deliver programs that suit the needs of our local partners. The Global Channels team is part of the broader sales team, which has a very unique approach to selling.  A huge portion of our sales is done via credit card over the web through a self-service, no negotiation, no discounting model.  That being said, we have great teams that work directly with customers of all sizes to ensure that they have the information they need to make a decision.  We believe in transparency and real teamwork, which reflects one of our five values.
