Do you want to lead an energetic and friendly team that delivers world-class improvements to Jira? We’re on a journey to improve and change the way Jira Cloud works. Having delivered on the promise of making privacy a first class citizen in Atlassian and Jira, the team is moving to new areas. You’ll be working with performance and scale for Jira Enterprise and making sure that we can handle even the largest customer. Working with developers across the organisation to deliver enterprise ready features and finding synergies will be expected of you.
We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers at our HQ in Sydney. You'll be part of a growing team, crafting our next generation of infrastructure and delivering value to our customers through creative improvements to our product. You'll work closely with our design and product management teams to influence the direction of the product and plan the steps to get there. You'll be responsible for building effective teams, empowering them to achieve their goals, and putting those goals into broader context. Your greatest responsibility will be looking after the individuals reporting to you, coaching and supporting them in their professional development, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel.
