Atlassian is continuing to hire for all open roles with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

Atlassian is seeking a Finance Operations Analyst for its expanding team in our Bengaluru office. You will be responsible for managing finance responsibilities for the local office and report to the local Finance Manager in our Bangalore office. You will provide support to the local manager and assist in the day to day activities and the quarterly and yearly audits.

In this role, you'll:

  • Calculate the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) process including weekly review of eligible expenses, monthly TDS calculation, challan preparation and coordinating payment.
  • Support in filing of GST (GSTR1, GSTR2, GSTR3B), quarterly returns, annual tax returns and GST Audit.
  • Prepare the Advance Tax Calculation on quarterly basis.
  • Assisting in finalisation of books and preparing the financial statements.
  • Assist with the Transfer Pricing documentation and liaise with local advisers on required filing (form 3CEB).
  • Assist the local finance manager in local audits for India office complying with local gap and assist with Foreign Liabilities and Assets filing (FLA), annual return (Form 11) and solvency return (form 8) as per the LLP rules.
  • Assist with preparation and filing of valuation certificate, RBI reporting, and Foreign inward remittance certificates.
  • Work with business owners across Atlassian offices on business process improvement initiatives across other areas of finance such as payroll, AP, and procurement. Tasks include registrations, reviewing, collecting and storing documentation and communication with Vendors.
  •  On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

    ·        0.5 -1 year of post CA qualification experience in Tax, Audits and Public Accounting.
    ·        Thorough knowledge of IND AS and local tax regulations.
    ·        Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
    ·        Experience with Oracle Accounting Software (preferred but not required).
    ·        Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
    ·        A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, organisation skills and ambition.
    ·        Attention to detail, balanced with an ability to prioritize issues and external deadlines.
    ·        Flexible thinking to take on new challenges and adapt to change at a fast pace
