Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, every Atlassian will have the choice to work from an office or from home.

As a Compensation Specialist, you’ll be supporting the end-to-end delivery of our annual compensation programs and processes including market pricing, annual salary adjustments, promotions, bonus, equity, and reporting requirements.

You’ll partner closely with key stakeholders - Talent Acquisition, HR Partners, HRIS, HR Operations (as needed) - on reviewing offer exceptions, identifying and executing on process improvements and enhancements, and providing ongoing support, training and education to stakeholders to increase shared understanding of our compensation programs.

You'll also analyse employee, market and financial data to summarise findings, draw insights and support recommendations on compensation programs and initiatives. We need your passion to work on projects and company-wide initiatives to help Atlassian execute at scale, whilst maintaining the essence of who we are.
More about you:

You will have significant experience in a compensation role, preferably in both consulting and corporate environments, with a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline. You’ll have advanced excel skills and have experience with Workday (or a similar HRIS system). Good eye for business, and qualitative and quantitative analytical skills are a must, with an ability to synthesise data to support decision-making. Confidentiality and discretion will come naturally to you, and you’ll be confident in your communication style, both verbal and written. You’ll appreciate we work in a world which is evolving and rapidly growing. Ambiguity won’t stress you out. You'll have an understanding of compensation practices in Australia and preferably APAC regions. Passion, creative problem solving & agile working is a must!
