Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. All new and existing Atlassians will continue to work from home until it’s safe to return to our offices. When our offices re-open, every Atlassian will have the choice to work from an office or from home.

Atlassian is seeking a Senior Program Manager to boost the effectiveness and delivery of Atlassian’s cyber security programs. You will be championing key technical programs, drive execution of projects, grow accountability, deliver success and operationalize the underlying processes to make our Security team more efficient. You'll continually improve our delivery process through a commitment to quality and impact. The role is highly cross functional, working with technical and business teams throughout the organization.

This is the perfect job for a Program Manager with broad execution skills who loves rolling their sleeves up and getting involved. You're comfortable working with disciplines across different departments within a quick-paced, fast-growing company to deliver awesome outcomes. You will help craft and drive the major programs of work throughout the team, you'll bring order and focus while leaving room for flexibility and innovation. You'll have an infectious sense of urgency to help those around you: you'll be a mentor, multiplier, influencer, negotiator and awesome communicator rolled into one.

Last but not least, you’ll need to be comfortable in working in a ‘less structured’ environment but also build structure where it’s needed while brining the teams on the journey to improving the ways we work. Bring your ideas on how to make life better for us.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Make a real difference to customer security and privacy
  • Optimize a highly organized team
  • Lead big organizational and technical change
  • Do interesting diverse work, your way
  • On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • 8+ years experience delivering software projects as a project, product, or development manager
  • Ability to effectively and collaboratively identify and synchronise project interdependencies across multiple teams
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams as we’re growing our delivery capability globally.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically with great creative problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading technical cross-functional programs and encouraging delivery success
  • Experience working in a fast-growing software product organization with design and development teams, who may be located in different geographies
  • Real passion for coaching and mentoring engineering leadership on relevant project management practices
  • A phenomenal team player who loves to have fun.
  • It's great, but not required, if you have:

  • Experience working on cyber security, privacy, or risk management initiatives
  • Experience in a large scale cloud business
  • More about you
Things move fast in cyber security, and we’re looking for individuals who can move just as fast, be flexible and adapt to change. To be successful, you flourish with autonomy and open work.
