We’re searching for a Hardware Test Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will

  • Own one or more modules through their test waterfalls
  • Support modules through their lifetime outside of the lab
  • Participate in RCCA efforts with other VnV team with subject matter expertise

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Similar
  • Python Experience (Automate repetitive tasks, analyze data, work within larger testing frameworks)
  • Working knowledge of test equipment including thermal chambers, vibe tables, liquid chillers, power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs
  • Multidisciplinary experience across ME/EE. Expertise in one, knowledgeable in the other.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and networking

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience using Bazel build automation
  • Experience doing thermal vibe testing


The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $184,000 per year.  Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
