Responsibilities

  • Respond to COVID-19 clinical triage chats (online) 
  • Apply a COVID-19 specific triage protocol and direct as appropriate to ED or telemedicine consult, or provide standardized clinical advice for home isolation and monitoring
  • Support patients with a person-centered approach, acknowledging the unique circumstances of the current pandemic and the questions/fears that arise
  • Work as part of a cross-disciplinary remote team to triage non-COVID-19 related concerns as clinically appropriate (e.g., anxiety referred to Behavioral Health team)
  • Work with non-clinical support agents who will handle standard agency (CDC, WHO, etc.) recommendations and Babylon in-app resource navigation
  • Documents notes appropriately in the record of choice
  • Review clinical cases with supervising physician as appropriate
  • Inform and modify triage protocols based on evolution of COVID-19 pandemic
  • Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum three years of experience in direct patient care (ambulatory care, urgent care, emergency care, or outpatient care)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability and interest in learning new technologies to enable patient care
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Active licensure in NY
  • Effectively work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
