Key Output
• Planning and coordinating of repair, service and maintenance jobs for a team of service artisans to comply
with Caterpillar standards and customer requirements.
• Planning, Prioritizing and initiation of jobs and long term planning of component change outs.
• Assist with achievement of key performance indicators (KPI’s)
• Ability to apply warranty policies and procedures. Resolve internal and external customer queries.
• Building of Bar Charts for projects.
• Timekeeping of workforce.
• Managing the work in progress (WIP), work order closing and work order history.
• Effective self-management, Control returning of components.
• Prepare reports as required and attend site meetings, customer meetings and other relevant meeting when required, FMCS and quarterly mining plan.
• Manage signed fleet downtime and ensure that correct downs are recorded on AMT
• Component change out Management as per Life cycle cost of equipment.
• Parts ordering process knowledge and parts follow up with parts department.
• Meetings and follow-ups with BRC regarding components that is under repair.
• Scheduling of LDV maintenance as per customer plan.
• Adhere to planning and scheduling SOP.
• Working hand in hand with Site Performance Manager.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Matric, and trade certificate (Diesel or Earthmoving Mechanic)
• 3 years planning and scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of safety and MHSA requirements.
• SAP, CRM, AMT, processes and SAP, SIS user knowledge.
• Sound business and financial acumen; sound business communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
