Type: Mon. -Thurs. 3pm - 8pm; 12 shifts Friday - Sunday available.
Pay: Weekly: starting pay at $19/hr
BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) w/ ASL to join the team in Mooresville, NC, working for a specific client. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:
- One year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program)
- Knowledge in ASL (Fluent in ASL is preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Provide personal care assistance with daily hygiene (bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments
- Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
- Participate in community integration activities
Compensation & Schedule:
- Competitive pay rates starting at $19 with a weekly pay schedule
- Flexible scheduling (part-time, and various shifts)
- Mon - Thurs. 3pm - 8pm
- Weekend 12hr shifts Fri. - Sun. (Can split shifts as well.)
- $500 Sign on Bonus ($200 hired on; $300 after 30 days)
- Must be located in NC
