BAYADA's Philadelphia's Adult Nursing Office is looking for newly graduated nurses for our 6-week New Grad Program.The New Grad Program is a transition-to-practice paid program that prepares newly credentialed Licensed Practical Nurses to become competent and confident nursing professionals in the home care setting.  After 6 weeks of initial training, nurses will work independently on low-complexity client cases, with the potential to up-skill to higher complexity client cases in the future.  

Throughout the New Grad Program, you will be paired with a Clinical Instructor and Clinical Coach to ensure your success. You will partake in collaborative opportunities to refine your clinical practice in our simulation lab in addition to in-home precepting experiences, working alongside our experienced nurses.

This is a full-time opportunity to work with our adult clients residing in Lower Bucks and NE Philadelphia. We are looking for nurses flexible to work days, evenings, overnight and weekend hours.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Assessments
  • Training and education of family members
  • Medication administration of prescribed treatments and therapies
  • Communication with other members of the patients' multidisciplinary team
  • Supply management
  • Emergency management

 

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Current RN license in good standing (PA)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
