Qualifications PCA's Personal Care Assistants:  

  • Minimum one year personal care experience  

Job Responsibilities for PCA's Personal Care Assistants:

  • Activities of daily living  
  • Light housekeeping  
  • Bathing  
  • Grooming  
  • Toileting  
  • Nail care  
  • Range of motion / exercises   
  • Oral feeding   
  • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.  
  • Assisting with ambulation  
  • Medication assistance
