Qualifications for Personal Care Assistants (PCA):
- Minimum one year work experience in personal care.
- OR Participation in our monthly, one week comprehensive Caregiver (PCA) training course
Job Responsibilities for Personal Care Assistants (PCA):
- Activities of daily living (bathing, changing, dressing)
- Toileting
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
