Responsibilities:
Act as a finance business partner for the country/region leadership team to develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategic objectives for the companyOversee financial activity ensuring that all relevant requirements are compliant with local and EU regulatory standardsEnsure the financial integrity of the company and be fully accountable for the accuracy of the company's financial statements and drive the statutory and safeguarding auditsProvide support on all tax matters related to compliance and manage relationships with Luxembourg tax authorities, including responding to queries, managing audits, and handling any challenges, disputes, and tax litigationImplement and perform financial regulatory reporting to the CSSFProvide support for license applications and set up the optimal business entity structure in Luxembourg, considering future expansion plansAssist the business in analyzing and structuring commercial transactions and contractual arrangements, as well as support new business ventures, products, or servicesProvide financial oversight and drive controls in LuxembourgBudget, forecast, and oversee current and future investments and capital structuresManage the financial health of the business in the region and ensure that various key financial metrics are accurately maintained and reportedBe aware of the law, regulation, and compliance requirements of the regulated payments industry and work closely with the company’s legal and tax teams, regulators, and law enforcement agencies as requiredRequirements:
10+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3+ years in a Head of Finance roleExperience in a senior financial role within a regulated institution is essentialThorough knowledge of financial planning, financial regulation and risk management practicesExperience tax and working with tax authorities, including responding to requests for information, managing audits, and handling challenges, disputes, and tax litigationExperience in regulatory reporting and working with regulatorsSignificant experience working with external advisors, internal controls, and compliance-related issuesAbility to deal with ambiguity and lead teams through changeQualified Chartered Accountant (CA); additional qualifications such as Company Secretary (CS) are an advantageFluency in English is essential, French would be beneficialLuxembourg basedWhy Binance
