Responsibilities
Functional expert in Revenue Accounting of Crypto productsCollaborate with Finance Business Partners and Entity Controllers to ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactionsEnsure proper revenue recognition for transactions and contracts in accordance with company policies and revenue recognition accounting standardsPerform detailed analysis of revenue streams and trends to identify potential opportunities and risksMonth End Close Reporting and ReconciliationsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholdersCollaborate with the Corporate Accounting Policy Lead to establish revenue recognition policies in accordance to IFRSSupport any local audits, statutory filings and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timelinessImplement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the month end close reporting processWork closely with the Business Units and Finance Business Partners to evaluate the financial impact of new products and initiativesLead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools, with a focus on automation and scalabilityRequirements
At least 8 years of experience in a combination of industry, preferably in FinTech / Financial Service, and Big 4 public accounting experience with at least 4 years in a Revenue Accounting or Controllership function.Bachelors degree and a Qualified Accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar)Experienced with International accounting and proficient in IFRSWell versed in business combinations, derivatives, hedging, NFT, pay services and complex blockchain productsThe proven ability to design and implement effective operational controls and processes in a highly regulated environmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.Proficiency in Netsuite or similar ERP system as well as data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and TableauIndependent and comfortable in a high growth comapny where structure, procedures and policies are in developmentAdapt to a face paced continous learning environment and show a willingness to take on additional responsibility, where requiredPassion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, with a desire to stay informed about industry developments and trends
