You will:

  • Act as the first point of contact on the People team for employees and leaders
  • Play a role in designing, implementing, and executing sustainable HR programs, systems, and processes
  • Find ways to make every aspect of the employee lifecycle a delightful and hospitable experience, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between
  • Partner, investigate and resolve employee relations matters and investigations including workplace conflicts or allegations of policy and/or legal violations; work to ensure issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved
  • Support recruiting for our rapidly growing organization  
  • Be a key point of contact for reporting on employee data, both internally to team members and externally
  • Execute HR transactions with an eye toward timely, accurate processing of employee data
  • Support payroll processing through auditing of time cards, deductions, and pay stubs
  • Assist with new hire onboarding including collecting employment verification documents 
  • Work with the Global People team to align the local HR practices with Blue Bottle’s guidelines and initiatives

  • You have:

  • 3+ years experience in Human Resources as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or HR Operations Specialist, ideally in Consumer Retail, Food & Beverages or Hospitality industry
  • Broad familiarity with general HR disciplines and best practices (recruiting, training, compensation/benefits) and ability to apply practices with judgment to specific situations
  • Specific experience with employee relations and navigating difficult situations and conversations
  • Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills and a bias to action
  • Significant experience with Google Suite (e.g., Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Verbal and written Chinese and English proficiency is required
