Your Job:
As the HR Specialist, Asia, you will be an integral part of the Brooks Asia HR Team, providing administrative support across a wide range of HR functions, with a focus on the day-to-day activities in China and Taiwan regions. Ultimately, you will support the HR team in ensuring our HR department effectively serves our employees while conforming to Brooks Policies and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Our ideal candidate for this role will have experience with HR procedures and the ability to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner efficient manner.
Your Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Recruiter and Operation team to assist in Onboarding and Offboarding for local employees, including HR administration, paperwork, documentation, and system updates.Responsible for updating and maintaining accurate employee records in the Workday system.Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in China and Taiwan, including monitoring and informing to Operation Team of any changes and updates.Coordinate with local authorities and government agencies on HR-related compliance matters.Organize and coordinate employee events and team-bonding activities for China &Taiwan such as Company Meetings, Charity Day, Birthdays, Fruit-time, Women's Day, Christmas day, etc. to cultivate the team spirits as well as Brooks cultureManage day-to-day administration operations of the office (stationery, office supplies, mailings, bill payment etc.).Organize and execute the transportation needs of all China, Taiwan employees including daily shuttle service for office team members, daily visitor transportation and visitor airport pick up/ drop off. This includes travel support (i.e. hotel, transportation) for Brooks employees coming from other global regions.Responsible for booking all necessary travel arrangements including but not limited to: visa, airfare, hotel reservations, airport transportation, daily transportation for all Asia based Brooks teams travelling within Asia.Support on document filing for work permits/ resident visas when necessary. Provide support as needed during the relocation of expatriate assignees to host country (home search, air tickets, transportation, shipment of belongings etc.).Administer contracts and act as the primary contact point for working with local vendors, service providers (car vendors, hotels, etc.) for employee-related services.Ensure the accuracy and on-time payment of all invoices and contracts related to Administration and Operation activities.Arrange the annual health check-ups for employees with a dedicated and professional healthcare center.Work closely with all Asia HR team members to support the activities of the HR department and ensure that all HR administration is conducted accurately and in a timely, efficient manner.Provide assistance to Associate Manager, HR Asia Region in collecting information for HR Reports on a monthly / quarterly basic.Exercise individual judgement when dealing with HR and employee matters and bring them to HR Leaders’ attention.Perform other tasks as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and related work experience.Minimum 1+ years’ experience in general admin operations, preferably in a multi-country environment.Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in China and Taiwan.Demonstrated strong ethics and reliability.Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work professionally and efficiently within the team and across departments.Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented mindsetMust possess the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team environmentComputer proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), SharePoint, office technology and equipment.Experience in the Workday system is preferred.A passion for running enthusiasts and active lifestyle.Embraces and lives the Brooks values!At Brooks, we celebrate diversity & equity.
