Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of complex Sage Intacct implementations designed for the hospitality & entertainment industry
  • Oversee discovery, solution design, and configuration of Intacct modules to support specific use cases aligned with the hospitality & entertainment industry
  • Serve as senior consultant or solution architect on engagements
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of project deliverables with a lens on accuracy, sensitivity, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Maintain 40–60% billable utilization to stay grounded in client work while leading and mentoring the vertical team.
  • Design and refine IP assets such as standardized reporting templates
  • Develop a library of best practices covering Tip, Occupancy, & Lodging reporting & allocation, multi-entity accounting & consolidated financial reporting specific to hospitality & entertainment groups
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base of hospitality & entertainment specific, third-party applications (e.g., Restaurant365/Compeat, M3 Accounting & Analytics, APtech PVNG, Infor HMS, Oracle Opera, Jonas, Clubessential, Northstar) and reporting frameworks.
  • Support sales by acting as a subject matter expert in conversations involving complex Sage Intacct matters unique to the hospitality & entertainment industry
  • Collaborate with GTM to craft compelling value propositions for hospitality & entertainment groups and customize demo environments that reflect their operational structures.
  • Attend and speak at networking events to raise firm visibility.
  • Mentor and upskill consultants on hospitality & entertainment dynamics, including discretion, high-touch service expectations, and white-glove support models.
  • Advise on vertical hiring needs, help onboard new team members, and ensure alignment with firmwide delivery and success teams.
  • Establish OKRs and strategic growth plans for the Hospitality & Entertainment practice in collaboration with firm leadership.
  • Drive roadmap input based on evolving demands such as ESG reporting, digital assets, and increasing compliance complexity.
  • Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of ERP or financial systems consulting experience, with expertise in Sage Intacct or a comparable platform.
  • Hands-on experience with hospitality & entertainment operations including industry specific compliance & financial reporting frameworks such as Tips, Occupancy, Lodging, Gift Card Breakage, Resort Fees, Unclaimed Property, & Membership/Dues
  • Proven track record of delivering and architecting ERP systems for Hospitality & Entertainment Groups, Restaurant & Multi-Unit Franchise Groups, & Private Clubs
  • Experience building reusable industry assets such as reporting frameworks, allocation templates, or custom dashboards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with executives.
  • Ability to balance client delivery with vertical leadership, team coaching, and go-to-market collaboration.
  • Familiarity with the broader hospitality & entertainment ecosystem, including third-party software providers.
  • Preferred Skills

  • Proven expertise implementing hospitality-specific compliance and financial reporting frameworks, including: IRS tip reporting (Form 8027) and best practices for tip allocation and payroll integration, Occupancy and lodging tax reporting for hotels and resorts across multiple jurisdictions, Familiarity with the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI), Accounting for gift card breakage, resort fees, and unclaimed property, & Membership and dues accounting for private clubs (member vs. non-member revenue, initiation fee recognition, F&B minimum tracking)
  • Hands-on experience integrating or advising on hospitality operational systems with ERP platforms
  • Strong understanding of multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction accounting and consolidated financial reporting in hospitality and entertainment groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to align back-office ERP systems (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.) with industry-specific operational tools for end-to-end visibility.
  • Experience advising clients on revenue recognition, franchise reporting, and tax treatment of fees and service charges in hospitality.
  • Track record of delivering finance transformation initiatives that improved controls, compliance, and performance visibility across hotels, resorts, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
