Role Overview

As an Ad Operations Manager, you will play a central role in executing high-quality ad campaigns across the Careem platform. This is a hands-on operations role where you’ll manage the full campaign lifecycle—from trafficking and setup to monitoring, optimization, and post-campaign reporting. You’ll work closely with product, analytics, commercial, and engineering teams to ensure every campaign delivers value to both the advertiser and the user.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end campaign setup, ensuring that targeting, placements, creative assets, and schedules are configured correctly and in alignment with campaign agreements.

  • Monitor daily delivery metrics and proactively address issues related to pacing, creative approval, or platform-level discrepancies.

  • Suggest and implement campaign optimizations based on performance data, such as adjusting placements, updating targeting criteria, or refining timing for maximum engagement.

  • Act as a central point of coordination between Sales, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams, ensuring smooth and timely campaign activations.

  • Generate comprehensive post-campaign performance reports that highlight key metrics such as impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, and overall effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with the Data and BI teams to automate routine reports and enhance the reliability and accessibility of campaign data.

  • Continuously improve operational workflows by identifying bottlenecks and updating SOPs related to QA, campaign setup, and troubleshooting processes.

  • Validate inventory and capacity for high-priority campaigns, supporting the commercial team in planning and forecasting.

  • Escalate delivery risks in a timely manner and work cross-functionally to resolve issues before they impact performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3–6 years of experience in ad operations, campaign management, or digital media trafficking.

  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms (Google Ad Manager, Facebook Ads Manager) and campaign performance tools.

  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Looker or Tableau is a plus.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent project management skills.

  • Ability to multitask and stay solutions-focused under pressure.

  • Strong understanding of advertising metrics and pacing logic.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.
