Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Success:
Meet and exceed revenue targets by designing and executing retail media campaigns aimed at
improving sales ROI and building brand awareness for grocery partners across the Careem
platform. - Client Relationships:
Manage a portfolio of grocery brands and advertisers, nurturing long-term relationships. Act as a
trusted consultant to CPGs and agencies, ensuring exceptional service and strategic alignment
with their business goals. - Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Lead end-to-end media strategy development from pitch to execution, leveraging first-party
insights and performance benchmarks. Guide clients on how to maximize visibility, drive
conversions, and boost ROAS through Careem Ads. - Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate closely with Category Managers to align campaign objectives with promotions and
listings. Coordinate with Merchandising and Product teams to launch innovative solutions and
pilots that enhance ad experiences and retail performance. - Market Positioning:
Champion the value of Careem as a multi-service super app, effectively communicating our
unique proposition and competitive advantage within the grocery and retail media ecosystem. - Pipeline Management:
Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outreach, client engagement, and
CRM management. Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and forecasting to meet individual and
team targets. - Data-Driven Insights:
Analyze campaign performance to identify optimization opportunities. Present clear, data-backed
recommendations to improve media efficiency and demonstrate ROI to clients.
Qualifications
- Agency Background:
Prior experience working with or at media/advertising agencies and existing agency relationships
is a must. - Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital media, retail advertising, or ad monetization preferably
in grocery, CPG, or e-commerce environments. - Proven Track Record:
Demonstrated success in scaling ad revenues, growing client portfolios, and delivering impactful
campaigns for grocery brands or CPG clients. - Retail Media Expertise:
Deep understanding of ad formats, audience targeting, performance measurement, and the
evolving retail media landscape. - Relationship Management:
Ability to build strong rapport with clients, anticipate their needs, and translate insights into
effective media solutions.
