About the team

As part of the Captain Economics team, your purpose will be to identify and influence actions that make captains satisfied and increase their earnings. You will be part of a very high performing team in the organisation delivering significant impact on Captain earnings and Captain experience. The team works together seamlessly and leans on to each others strengths.

What you'll do
  1. Running end-to-end partnership execution and managing discussions with internal and external stakeholders to ensure momentum
  2. Working with POCs across commercial, product, engineering, marketing, legal, compliance, and other functional areas to achieve milestones
  3. Ensuring project management and delivery against milestones
  4. Responsible for proactively monitoring earnings and help supply teams with forecast of captain retention based on earnings
  5. Initiate discussions on moving budgets between supply and demand to manage captain earnings
  6. Provide an ongoing view on competition moves that affect earning
  7. Objectively evaluate EPH vs. 2nd best alternative for each market quarterly to consider inflation/fuel price changes
What you'll need
  • 8 years + experience
  • MBA
  • Team leadership
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Customer-centric experience and mindset
  • Ability to drill into data and arrive at meaningful actions
  • Ability to look at things holistically
  • Knowledge of SQL is preferable

Where you'll be

  • Even though we are working remotely, we are strong believers in collaboration and the power of building social connections with our teams. For that reason, our offices are still open and provide plenty of collaboration-friendly spaces at times when teams need it or if you need a quiet space to work outside of home. 
  • You’ll be working out of the Careem Head Office in Karachi, Pakistan.. Due to legal and compensation considerations, you will need to be based out of the country you’re hired from as your primary work location.
