About the role:

Looking for an entrepreneurial technocrat to steer  growth capabilities through development of intelligent automations & targeting solutions for EMEA’s biggest ride hailing product. You will be accountable for providing state of art martech capabilities to growth marketing team to drive sharper audience targeting and optimizing on spend efficacies. This role will work closely together with the General Managers, Marketing Managers and  Central Growth & Analytics Team, Product team. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for building, maintaining and improving the growth targeting engine for Careem Rides; Be the single point of ownership for rider incentive spends 
  • Build the the right segmentations and optimizations framework to target users efficiently 
  • Constantly iterate on targeting methodologies and levers to optimize spends further
  • Manage business stakeholders effectively with transparent reporting on performance 
  • Support planning exercise with accurate reporting of uplift, conversion
  • Build pipeline of hypothesis for growth experiments with a 360 degree mindset [incentives, app real estate, performance marketing, product levers, supply availability, market dynamics]  
  • Demonstrate the art of possible and setup mid-long term product roadmap for the growth targeting engine

 

What you’ll need:

  • High proficiency with Python, SQL, PySpark with prior experience in data warehousing , data pipeline development and ML-model deployment and scaling
  • Prior experience in machine learning and statistical modeling techniques including regression, clustering, supervised and unsupervised classification & forecasting, NLP 
  • Prior experience with designing and  building complex targeting engines based on advanced segmentations and optimization techniques
  • Prior team management experience 
  • Highly Analytical (hands-on) , data-driven mindset with strong understanding of experimentation setup - A/B testing & optimization tactics alongside firm understanding of key growth metrics (ROI, ROAS, Campaign efficacies, statistical significance, confidence intervals)
  • 8+ years experience in roles dealing with martech, data engineering, data science, growth marketing roles
