The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for developing and releasing integration products that align with the Cayuse Integration roadmap. They will own the technical articulation and communication of requirements and documentation from idea to release. 

To succeed in this role you should have a strong grasp of modern integration methods and best practices, a collaborative spirit and keen sense of how to prioritize and approach problems creatively. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product, business, and technical partners to draft technical requirements based on business requirements.
  • Write user stories based on technical requirements with clear acceptance criteria
  • Groom and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Actively participate in daily scrum standup with onshore and offshore teams to effectively communicate the work to be performed by the technical team.
  • Act as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with QA engineers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Assist the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint
  • Write technical API documentation in support of our developer portal.
  • Utilize data, analysis, and user feedback to make decisions and influence others.
  • Conduct market research to understand the integration needs of the target market.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate in Engineering/Technical Field Preferred
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience as a Technical Product Owner on a cross-functional software development team in an Agile SaaS environment is required
  • Proven experience creating effective business requirements and user stories
  • Knowledge and experience with integration patterns and API design with REST.
  • Experience with JIRA, Swagger and building Postman collections preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with integration platforms such as Informatica, MuleSoft, etc. preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences, including ability to write technical requirements and technical documentation.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Strong conceptual grasp of technology with a successful history of managing all stages of the product life cycle and delivering technical projects.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; demonstrated track record of developing solutions to problems. 
  • Proven decision-making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
