What You’ll Do:
- Craft and execute a go-to-market strategy for your territory, experimenting and pivoting as needed to overcome challenges.
- Engage with trust & safety professionals to secure new business in your target verticals.
- Leverage your creativity to generate a robust pipeline and connect with customers where they are.
- Manage inbound leads from demand generation and channel partners, driving them to successful closes.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets using modern sales techniques and processes.
- Innovate and refine our approach to penetrating new vertical markets.
- Contribute directly to Checkr's growth and success as a key member of the Checkr Trust team.
What You Bring:
- 5-7+ years of full-cycle sales experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record of exceeding targets, especially in startup settings.
- Experience with first-to-market solutions and closing six-to-seven figure deals.
- A willingness to tackle hard challenges.
- A love for pipeline generation.
- A growth mindset, always eager to learn, adapt, and seek feedback.
- Strong communication skills and a reputation for grit and resilience.
- A team player who thrives on planning, executing, and celebrating wins together.

At Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, and Santiago, Chile. Individuals are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week. In-office perks are provided, such as lunch four times a week, a commuter stipend, and an abundance of snacks and beverages.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The on-target earnings range for this role is $258,000 to $304,000 in San Francisco, California.
