Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a GM, Pharmacy Operations at our Louisville, KY location. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a track record of building high performing teams and developing leaders at all levels of the organization.. The right candidate will have a powerful sense of urgency and the ability to improve operational efficiency through performance metrics and a thoughtful focus on process improvement.

What You'll Do:

Lead the business process flow for data entry and ensure a strong customer focus in our B2B contact for our pharmacy operations

Lead, develop, and coach managers to build successful/engaged teams focused on quality service

Innovate for improvements in safety, productivity, quality and cost metrics

Identify business trends and establish policies/processes to mitigate business risk

Support the PIC’s role as fully and actually in charge of the pharmacy

Build successful staffing plans in support of short and long term needs; Identify and close training gaps within the operation

Establish partnerships with support teams and fulfillment to drive service improvement

What You'll Need:

7+ years operational experience with proven leadership track record and verifiable history of leading managers of successful, high-volume teams

3+ years of experience in a health care operation (preferably pharmacy) with 300+ employees

Must be comfortable adapting to rapidly shifting goals, and willing to solve a variety of challenges

Proven coaching/development and strong partnership skills

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience (i.e. 10+ years industry experience in lieu of degree)

Strong computer (including MC Office Suite) and internet proficiency in a technology-driven environment

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Flexible schedule to support a 24x7 operation
